Our data sets are truly massive scale and we collect data on around a Billions of items. We're looking for an awesome Data Scientist to work on a R&D project, creating innovative technology from the ground up.

As our Data Scientist your responsibilities will include:

  • Data analysis & exploration

We're looking for a Data Scientist with the following:

  • Hands-on experience with statistical modelling on large data sets
  • An Advanced Degree (Masters/PhD) degree in statistics, machine learning or related scientific field.
  • Solid coding skills (Matlab, Octave, R, Julia, Fortran), ideally with experience in Ruby
  • A commercial mindset, you’ll be passionate about the creation of outstanding technology products
  • An interest in the quantitative modelling of human behaviour
  • You’ll be equally ready to code up a working prototype as to perform statistical analysis and research
  • Ambition to join a tight-knit international team of scientists and machine learning specialists
  • Experience with distributed computing in Hadoop, experience in Apache Mahout a plus
  • Experience with Bayesian modelling
  • Ideally as our Data Scientist you’ll have an interest in HMM, MCMC, particle filters, feature hashing, semi-supervised learning, unsupervised feature learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning or NLP

  • Solid work with middleware technology such as Apache-Thrift and API design

Systems Engineer

As our Systems Engineer, you will be part of a large engineering team, working on our core products and report directly to the CTO (Location: London, Victoria).

About the role

You will be joining a great team, working closely with the rest of business (both developers and management) to help deliver the products to schedule, by supporting multiple development environments/ teams. Full-Time, Part-Time or Flexible.

About you

You are an experienced Linux user who has spent a time understanding, designing, scaling, performance-tuning and troubleshooting. You will have experience in systems administration, adopting best practices and introducing new ones; with ability to code (Ruby, Bash etc.), not just basic shell scripting. You will be able to work independently and a keen interest in learning new applications and technology.

You will have a helpful attitude, whilst understanding the requirements and creating the best solution.
